Job Title: Audit Associate
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audits from initial engagement through to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Work independently to manage audit contracts and engagements, delivering high-quality results.
- Provide excellent client communication, addressing concerns, and presenting audit findings in a clear and constructive manner.
- Collaborate with team members in a supportive, ego-free environment focused on growth and learning.
- Implement feedback and work proactively to improve processes and results.
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of public audit experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Accounting degree required, no Finance or online programs).
- Experience with financial reporting in public accounting.
- Proficiency in software such as CCH (Wolters Kluwer), Axcess, and Engagement.
- Strong self-starter with the ability to handle full engagements independently.
- Excellent communication skills, able to work with clients and handle constructive feedback.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in auditing non-profits, Big 4 firms, or Fortune 500 companies.
- Open to MBA candidates looking for career growth.
