Senior Accountant
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong focus on cash recognition and month-end close (MEC) processes. This role will handle various revenue-related responsibilities, including balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and managing cash activities on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, have strong technical skills in Excel and GAAP, and be experienced in supporting AR functions and managing multi-entity accounts.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 60% revenue-related duties during MEC, including balance sheet reconciliation and posting journal entries.
• Manage daily bank activities, including recording cash transactions, coding, and mapping.
• Book daily transactions, match bank entries (NetSuite), and investigate and resolve bank variances and coding discrepancies.
• Conduct clean-up of journal entries within AP.
• Manage both automated and manual bank accounts (~30 manual).

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a solid foundation in reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, especially ASC-606.
• Experience with cash reporting, intercompany, and multi-entity accounting.
• Ability to support AR functions and adapt to changing priorities.
