Sr. Analyst – Commercial Finance
Senior Pricing Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, IT, FP&A, PMO, Transport, etc.) to understand customer operations and develop detailed cost estimates for new business proposals.
- Develop and calculate pricing structures for both new and existing customers.
- Prepare investment memos, pricing simulations, and high-level pricing summaries to facilitate discussions with management and executive leadership.
- Lead and organize pricing review meetings, fostering collaboration among various departments.
- Analyze, create, and adjust customer profitability reports to support decision-making.
- Support the development of pricing strategies in partnership with business development and other departments to provide value to customers and shareholders.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, pricing, and financial analyses for customer RFP packages, sales proposals, and capital investment proposals.
- Maintain and enhance internal pricing tools and costing models, exploring innovative pricing methodologies.
- Develop business cases using financial modeling techniques to support client proposals and internal initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making support for key business activities.
- Utilize tools such as BPC, SAP, and Microsoft Power BI to deliver data-driven decisions and insights to senior management.
- Lead the reporting and analysis of key performance metrics, offering recommendations to meet strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in roles such as audit, accounting, M&A, or FP&A (note: this is not a traditional FP&A role).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, VLOOKUP, Macros, SUMIFS).
- Strong ability to analyze and present complex data effectively.
- Proven ability to evaluate deals and projects with a solid understanding of supply chain elements (warehouse cost understanding is a plus).
- Background in Big 4 or investment banking is highly desirable.
