Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations, system implementation, and compliance efforts. The role involves mentoring a small team, leading payroll system configurations, and ensuring smooth multi-jurisdictional payroll processing. The ideal candidate has extensive payroll expertise, system implementation experience, and the ability to manage complex payroll requirements independently.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and guide a payroll assistant to support team success.
- Lead payroll system implementation efforts, configuring and optimizing processes.
- Perform system cleanup and audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage tax configurations and perform root cause analysis for payroll system issues.
- Reconfigure payroll systems as needed to align with operational requirements.
- Oversee payroll operations for multiple jurisdictions, including compliance with region-specific regulations.
- Support payroll-related benefits and leave administration.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with payroll systems, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in multi-jurisdictional payroll management and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of benefits and leave processes in payroll.
- Proven experience with payroll system implementations.
- Familiarity with regulatory and setup requirements for payroll systems.
- Ability to work independently and resolve complex payroll challenges.
