Job Title: Part-Time Accountant
Job Location: Hybrid (Approximately 10 hours per week)
Job Summary:
We are a recruiting agency seeking an experienced part-time Accountant to support the monthly reconciliation and financial reporting process for one of our clients. This critical role ensures accurate and complete financial records by managing and finalizing the company's financial activity each month. The position offers a hybrid schedule, requiring approximately 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Data Collection: Gather invoices, receipts, bank statements, and other financial information.
- Reconciliation: Compare collected documents with accounting system entries to ensure accuracy.
- Transaction Recording: Accurately document all financial activity for the month.
- Adjusting Entries: Make necessary adjustments to financial records as needed.
- Report Preparation: Generate financial statements and reports that reflect the company's financial position.
- Software Utilization: Work proficiently with QuickBooks Desktop for accounting tasks.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
