We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee key financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial statements and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior leadership, leading financial planning efforts, maintaining strong internal controls, and managing compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the Financial Operations Manager to develop financial goals and budgets.
- Assist in preparing the corporate annual report.
- Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Maintain a robust accounting system with strong controls and risk mitigation.
- Manage sales and use tax compliance from end to end.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Proficiency in financial management software, with preference for P21 Epicor.
- Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
