With a focus on resilience, innovation, and compliance, they are seeking an Information Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure architectures across both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
As an Information Security Architect, you will define and refine enterprise security strategies, develop secure and resilient solutions, and provide technical leadership to ensure regulatory compliance. You will assess existing security architectures, recommend enhancements, and drive the adoption of industry best practices. Additionally, you will play a key role in advising leadership on emerging threats, security frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies to protect vital data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security architectures to protect enterprise applications, cloud technologies, and infrastructure.
- Assess current security frameworks, identify gaps, and drive enhancements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to security architects and engineers, fostering a culture of security excellence.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging security technologies and enterprise frameworks to improve resilience.
- Partner with senior IT leaders to develop technology roadmaps, service standards, and governance strategies.
- Define security controls, best practices, and standards to safeguard sensitive data.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, industry regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, CJIS), and internal governance.
- Lead the evaluation of security components in procurement processes, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in information security, cloud security, and enterprise architecture in complex environments.
- 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, guiding security initiatives and teams.
- Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (MS Azure, AWS) and associated security practices.
- Experience securing enterprise networks, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access controls.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and CJIS.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead security initiatives.
- CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certification required; additional certifications (CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, AWS/Azure security) are a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; MS preferred.
