We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a large industrial real estate portfolio. In this role, you will manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, property inspections, financial reporting, and vendor coordination. You will play a critical role in maintaining asset performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong tenant partnerships. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact on property performance and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants through regular site visits, service coordination, and tenant engagement initiatives.
- Oversee property inspections, identify deficiencies, and coordinate timely corrective actions with vendors.
- Manage service contracts, vendor selection, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, financial reporting, and operating expense reconciliations for the portfolio.
- Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and ensure properties are market-ready for leasing.
- Support due diligence efforts for acquisitions, including inspections, data review, and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with Asset Managers and Construction Managers on operational and project-related initiatives.
- Ensure timely invoice approvals, aged receivables management, and preparation of variance and management reports.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, economics, or a related field OR at least 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial real estate management.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial property management, preferably with multi-site portfolios.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and expense reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of property operations, vendor management, and local regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to foster effective tenant relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and sound judgment in problem-solving.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with property management software (Yardi preferred).
