Senior Cloud Systems Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to manage and support a robust Azure environment, working both onsite and remotely. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure infrastructure, server administration, and virtual desktop management. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, configuring and maintaining cloud systems while ensuring the seamless operation of infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Azure IaaS, App Service, and Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) or Terminal Services for remote desktop management
• Administer and configure Azure services such as Entra ID, Intune, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Perform Windows Server administration, including IIS, critical alerts, health monitoring, and advanced file and print services
• Configure and manage virtual servers, troubleshoot Azure DevOps projects, and set up new virtual environments
• Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management
• Manage network configurations, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls, and troubleshoot network issues
• Collaborate with developers, creating service connections and troubleshooting within Azure DevOps

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience in cloud systems engineering/administration, with a focus on Azure
• Expertise in Azure IaaS, App Services, and virtual desktop infrastructure
• Strong server administration skills (Windows/Linux) and proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Experience with networking technologies (VLANs, VPNs, Layer 3 switches, firewalls)
• Azure certifications preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills, self-driven, and able to work independently
• Hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days in office
