Senior Network Security Engineer Lead
Responsibilities:
- Implement, maintain, and support global network infrastructure, ensuring near 100% network uptime.
- Build, configure, audit, and revise security policies on firewalls and SASE to enhance security posture.
- Standardize configurations, segment networks, document processes, and leverage centralized management solutions to strengthen global security.
- Configure and manage routers, firewalls, switches, and other IP-based communication equipment.
- Design and implement failover and disaster recovery plans with thorough documentation.
- Maintain logging and monitoring systems for network performance and security.
- Supervise engineers and provide updates to the Global Network Manager, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Serve as second-level support for the Global Help Desk and Regional Network Administrators.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure resources are effectively utilized for technology projects.
- Document all activities, incidents, and resolutions for knowledge-sharing purposes.
- Provide training on equipment, software, and network features as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- Certifications in Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or MS Azure are strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams and presenting to stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of network technologies, including SDWAN and SASE.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, Internet technology, and project management tools.
- Familiarity with the freight forwarding and logistics industry is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills in English for documentation and reporting purposes.
