As a Workday Integration Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing business and financial applications within a healthcare environment. You will be responsible for system administration, troubleshooting, and the implementation of enhancements to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise in Workday HCM and related technologies will drive improvements in efficiency, scalability, and system reliability. This role requires independent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing system optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier-2 application support, troubleshooting incidents and ensuring timely resolution, including on-call coverage as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert, translating complex technical concepts into business terms to influence decision-making.
- Lead major software upgrades, installations, and system enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and scalability, implementing workflow and infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data archiving, purge strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Identify opportunities for automation and lead internal initiatives to improve system efficiencies.
- Ensure system documentation is up to date, covering configurations, workflows, and integration points.
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience supporting and integrating complex HCM systems (Workday, Lawson, API) in a healthcare or similar enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM software, Lawson, ADP, and API preferred.
- Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and integration best practices.
- Expertise in server operating systems, storage systems, databases, scripting languages, and monitoring tools.
- Proven ability to analyze complex systems and workflows, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning, system optimization, and automation.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influencing outcomes and driving efficiency improvements.
